Room clean and bed comfortable. No ability to adjust heating so had to open window and couldn't sleep due to noise. No hot water and told no idea when going to be fixed. Allegedly maintenence and engineers on site all night to try and fix it. Weren't told there was an issue at check in but were told there was an issue with restaurant so only operating a very limited menu. Milk in room not checked as one had already been used and just left. We did get 50 percent refund and apology which was appreciated but doesn't make up for lack of sleep. We have just spent 10 days here while here from the usa, visiting family in the area. Some issues at check in. That particular person needs some training. In fact all the front staff desk were kinda miserable. What got you the 5 stars were the restaurant staff. They were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. They were all super friendly and helpful. Thanks to Carly and i’m sorry I didn’t get his name but the tall guy. For putting us together a little something for our very early flight. It was very much appreciated.Cleaning staff were friendly too. I even used the hair Salon on site and had a good experience.Slightly disappointed being platinum elite members we didn’t get a room upgrade but we were told these rooms were being refurbished and there were only 15.We will stay again next time we are in the area. Acabamos de passar 10 dias aqui enquanto estamos aqui dos EUA, visitando a família na área. Alguns problemas no check-in. Essa pessoa em particular precisa de algum treinamento. Na verdade, todos os funcionários da recepção eram meio miseráveis. O que te deu as 5 estrelas foram os funcionários do restaurante. Eles foram incríveis e nada era demais. Todos foram super simpáticos e prestativos. Obrigado a Carly e lamento não ter o nome dele, mas o cara alto. Por nos preparar uma coisinha para o nosso voo bem cedo. Isso foi muito apreciado.Os funcionários da limpeza também foram simpáticos. Até usei o cabeleireiro no local e tive uma boa experiência.Ligeiramente desapontados por serem membros da elite platina, não recebemos um upgrade de quarto, mas nos disseram que esses quartos estavam sendo reformados e havia apenas 15.Vamos ficar novamente na próxima vez que estivermos na área.

A lovely hotel!Was right for our family. Only downside - family room did not have a detachable shower which I wasn’t so pleased about.Trying to wash a toddler with water falling from up high on her face and eyes wasn’t pleasant at all. Other than that all was well. Um hotel encantador! Era certo para a nossa família. Única desvantagem - o quarto familiar não tinha um chuveiro destacável com o qual eu não estava tão satisfeito. Tentar lavar uma criança com água caindo do alto do rosto e dos olhos não era nada agradável. Fora isso estava tudo bem.

The room was nice and clean and spacious. Hotel staff where friendly and helpful. Good choice for breakfast not just the usual full English. Only thing was the mattress was to hard for me but that's a personal preference. Had 1 meal in the restaurant which was about £14 for burger and chips it was good and filling.

Hotel datado. Quartos comuns não estavam disponíveis devido ao vazamento. Os quartos são uma glória antiga e de longo alcance que você pode ver em tudo. O ar condicionado não funciona a moderado. Buffet de café-da-manhã é inglês padrão e certamente nada de especial. A piscina é uma boa adição, só que há aulas regulares de natação para crianças pequenas. Eu esperava muito mais deste Marriott Hotel. Este hotel definitivamente não é o padrão para Marriott. Eu não voltaria aqui novamente.

I booked a room for myself and my daughter to have a night away. The room was lovely, very clean and had aking-size bed and sofa. All staff very friendly and she loved her time in the pool also I would definitely visit again. Food was lovely, some good and unusual menu options and the buffet breakfast is good. Os quartos são de ótimo tamanho e o layout é bom. Escolha pessoal, mas achei os travesseiros muito macios e o ar condicionado não é realmente ar condicionado, então fica quente ... as janelas abrem, mas você ouve o barulho do tráfego. Comida era adorável, algumas opções de menu boas e incomuns e o buffet de café-da-manhã é bom.

Meus filhos gostaram, especialmente da piscina, que é ideal para crianças. Localizado entre um enorme centro comercial - Metrocentre e IKEA. Mis hijos lo disfrutaron, especialmente la piscina, que es apta para niños. Ubicado entre un gran centro comercial: Metrocentre e IKEA. No hay parques ni áreas de juegos para niños a una corta distancia a pie, pero hay entretenimiento en el centro comercial. La estación de tren está a 15 minutos a pie del hotel, tardará unos 10 minutos en tren hasta el centro de la ciudad de Newcastle. El aparcamiento del hotel es gratuito, lo cual es un plus.

No me parece un hotel de 4 estrellas.La alfombra de la habitación no estaba limpia. No hay secador de pelo. Yo le quitaría una estrella.

Everything was great with the hotel. However, two of the taxi cab drivers ordered from the hotel were very rude. When we complained we were told "who cares it's not like you're going to see us again, you're only here for the weekend." I think the management of the hotel should be aware that these cab drivers are talking to hotel customers in such a bad manner. Bed sizes, staff, cost, cleanliness Room was a bit too warm at night, kept waking up. Would have preferred the air con to be a bit cooler.

Friendly staff, comfortable room, hotel popular for graduation parties on weekends, but we were provided with a quiet room away from the celebrations, as requested. Size of bedroom and comfort of bed. Location.
