“A total scam! Stay away!!!
We booked a room through hotel tonight as our flight got rerouted to Cleveland last minute, through hotel tonight we paid for the totality of our room, fees and taxes. Upon arrival we were placed in a room that looked barely cleaned, had a half used toilet paper roll, no deadbolt on the door (which made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe). The overall experience was more than disappointing but nothing prepared us for the surprise we would face when checking our bank account later on… to our surprise we saw that this scam of a hotel took the liberty to charge us for the full cost of our room and an additional mystery $70. There was absolutely no reason for these two charges, the room was already paid off through hotel tonight, we did not use any services in the hotel (room service, minibar - if there even was one who knows at this point). Upon realizing this we call the hotel which was very evasive on why we were charged these amounts and told us we would get a refund in 5 to 9 business days. We are now three weeks later and still have not seen a refund. We called the hotel again asking for the charge to be removed/refunded to which we were told that we should talk to their accounting department instead of offering no help, explanation or solution.
