No geral, tivemos uma estadia agradável. Também tento entender os problemas atuais com a indústria hoteleira, visto que o COVID-19 os afetou. Do meu conhecimento da atual indústria de viagens, o pessoal é um grande problema na indústria hoteleira, aérea e de restaurantes. Portanto, este hotel é um pouco insuficiente tanto na recepção e, possivelmente, até mesmo nos serviços de limpeza. Pelo menos durante este tempo, NÃO ESPERE SERVIÇOS DE PRIMEIRA CLASSE e peça para ser paciente.O hotel era muito bonito, parecia um pouco entre o gosto moderno e um pouco histórico. O happy hour foi definitivamente o clima de "happy hour", com um bar aberto para serviço e música ao vivo. Eu não me importei com a taxa de comodidade de $ 25 indo para isso! A taxa de comodidade de US $ 25 inclui o happy hour e chá e café da manhã, mas hoje em dia, muitos hotéis adicionam isso. Não tenho certeza se pode ser desativado, pois pode ser difícil rastrear qual sala não pode ter. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. I also try to understand the current issues with the hotel industry as COVID-19 has impacted them. From my understanding of the current traveling industry, staffing is a huge issue within the hotel industry, flight industry, and restaurant industries. So, this hotel is a bit understaffed both in the front desk and possibly, even cleaning services. At least during this time, DO NOT EXPECT FIRST CLASS SERVICES and ask to be patient.The hotel was very pretty, it felt like a bit between modern and a bit historic taste. The happy hour was definitely the mood of, "happy hour", with both a bar open for service and live music playing. I didn't mind the $25 amenity fee going towards that! The $25 amenity fee does include the happy hour and tea and coffee in the morning, but nowadays, a lot of hotels add this on. I am not sure if it can be opted out as it may be hard to track which room cannot have it. During Happy Hour, people don't really clean up after themselves, which makes it a bit sadder mood. Perhaps the hotel can kindly remind guests with a reminder poster to return their glasses to the bar so that the staff doesn't have to do check-in AND clean up after people. As I like to say, "Help others, help you!"On the 2nd floor, there was the art vending machine, a pool table, conference rooms and, the restrooms. On the basement floor is a wine storage and the fitness center. For a hotel, they had a diverse amount of entertainment, compared to others. They also supplied some umbrellas for you to borrow for those out of town although they are definitely not wind resistant, but Portland doesn't seem to get those too often.The biggest con is I felt there was a lack of communication or understanding amongst the employees on how to address escalation issues such as billing. Perhaps an escalation issue training should be administered. I did have a billing issue and their phone numbers for the billing and accounting department do not work. I won't go into too many details as it was a big amount of loops of back and forth between IHG and the hotel, but hopefully, the hotel can learn from it and provide even better service.Despite the con, I think overall, I really did enjoy my stay as this hotel is in a prime location for the best attractions to do in downtown Portland: shopping, powell bookstore, restaurants, bars, NOLA donuts, and more! Their hotel rooms are quite modern and if you can afford the suite, I say do it! It's super roomy and some of them have windows on the roof that are fun to close and open. Although I hate driving in Portland, the Kimpton Vintage Hotel made is fun to be in close proximity of prime attractions so walking was a breeze while also having the option to relax back at the hotel.If I come back and the service is better, I would not mind revising my review afterwards to provide an update. I look forward to coming back.

While the room was pleasant, I was charged 3 times for the room, and management hasn’t returned my calls or my email for over 4 weeks. My room was prepaid, and I was charged $203 twice on a separate credit card, twice. Very unprofessional. I will never stay here again.

Belo edifício no coração da cidade. Os quartos estão bem equipados e tem um átrio fresco. Infelizmente, o hotel foi curto com uma equipe durante a nossa estadia. O restaurante não abria e apenas 1 funcionário era responsável pela gestão da recepção e do bar.

Hermoso edificio en el corazón del centro de la ciudad. Las habitaciones están bien equipadas y tiene un vestíbulo fresco. Desafortunadamente, el hotel tenía poco personal durante nuestra estancia. El restaurante no abrió y solo 1 empleado tuvo que administrar la recepción y el bar.

Beautiful building in the heart of downtown. The rooms are well appointed and it has a cool lobby. Unfortunately the hotel was short staffed during our stay. The restaurant did not open and only 1 employee had to manage the front desk and bar.

The rooms are fine. The employees are fine. The problem is that there is not enough employees. Two people working on a Friday night. Delays for valet. Key cards losing their magnetic access within 24 hours. The owner needs to pay the extra 15 bucks an hour to have another worker

Hospitalidade incrível !! Nós nos encontramos em Portland sem uma reserva de hotel. Kimpton Hotel Vintage foi muito confortável e nos fez check-in imediatamente. O quarto era limpo, silencioso e confortável. Os pequenos toques como porteiros, happy hour com vinho e café fresco no lobby foram apreciados. Falando no lobby - é um que realmente queríamos sair e fizemos algumas vezes. Voltei para o saguão após o jantar com amigos e bebi uma garrafa de vinho. A equipe foi muito útil na seleção de um vinho e até trouxeram um balde de gelo para mantê-lo frio. Sempre havia alguém no saguão, mas nunca era barulhento ou desconfortável. Se alguma vez voltarmos a Portland, certamente ficaremos aqui. Talvez tenhamos a oportunidade de desfrutar do restaurante e bar que ainda estavam fechados durante a nossa visita.

Amazing hospitality!! We found ourselves in Portland without a hotel reservation. Kimpton Hotel Vintage was very accommodating and got us checked in right away. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The little touches like doormen, wine happy hour and fresh coffee in the lobby were appreciated. Speaking of the lobby - it's one we actually wanted to hang out in and did on a few occasions. Came back to the lobby after dinner with friends and enjoyed a bottle of wine. The staff was very helpful in selecting a wine and they even brought an ice bucket to keep it cold. There was always someone hanging out in the lobby but it was never loud or uncomfortable. If we're ever back in Portland we'll definitely stay here. Maybe we'll get a chance to enjoy the restaurant & bar that were still closed during our visit.

Hotel atraente por dentro e por fora. Limpo e atualizado. Como esperado, não há serviço de limpeza padrão ou disponibilidade de restaurante (serviço de limpeza disponível mediante solicitação). Tudo funcionava no quarto e no banheiro, e a temperatura no quarto era facilmente controlada. Meus únicos problemas são 1. há duas cadeiras grandes na sala e é um pouco lotado. 2. A segunda mesa de cabeceira não tem tomada elétrica disponível (embora, para ser justo, a mesa e a outra mesa de cabeceira tenham muitas). 3. Sem cômoda, apenas duas gavetas em uma mesinha de cabeceira.Devido ao nº 3, eu recomendo o hotel por apenas alguns dias de estadia. Mais um pouco e eu gostaria de um quarto com uma cômoda para colocar minhas roupas.Este hotel está em uma ótima localização, a uma curta caminhada de restaurantes e lojas. Eu não hesitaria em reservar outro quarto aqui. Mas se for uma estadia longa, aconselho perguntar se há um quarto com mais espaço de armazenamento.

Attractive hotel inside and out. Clean and updated. As expected, no standard maid service or restaurant availability (maid service available though upon request). Everything worked in the room and bathroom, and temperature in the room was easily controlled. My only issues are 1. there are two large chairs in the room and it's a bit crowded. 2. Second nightstand has no power outlet available (though to be fair the desk and other nightstand have plenty). 3. No dresser, only two drawers in one nightstand. Due to #3, I'd recommend the hotel for only a couple days stay. Any longer and I'd want a room with a dresser to put my clothes in. This hotel is in a great location though, easy walk to restaurants and shopping. I wouldn't hesitate booking another room here. But if it's a long stay, i advise asking if there's a room with more storage.
