Wonderful experience. Today we visited Banana island first time. Hospitality was top notch... Worth every penny. There is something for each age group... You can play indoor games, enjoy beaches... Swimming pool, boat rides... Tennis...and much more. Cherry on the cake was buffet... You have all kind of foods . .. Italian, continental, Tandoori, Indian. Taste and ambience is awesome...will definitely recommend this tour to every visitor..

We had a great stay and will surely come back again. All staff were nice and very accommodating. Kudos to Denis our golf car driver, who patiently tour us around the resort, and took a lot of pictures. Also Maria, one of the the front desk for the smooth and hassle free checkout. This experience is one for the books. 👍🏻

Reservamos una suite con vista al mar y fue hermosa. Las comodidades en la habitación estaban completas y actualizadas. La isla en sí tiene muchas actividades que ofrecer, como bolos, cine y golf, por nombrar algunas, así que incluso si nos saltamos la playa debido al clima (ventoso), no nos aburrimos en absoluto. El personal del puerto, recepción, restaurante, centros de actividades es amable y educado. Hicieron toda la diferencia. ¡Definitivamente recomendado!

We booked sea view suite and it was beautiful. The amenities in the room were complete and up to date. The island itself has a lot of activities to offer like bowling, cinema, and golf to name a few, so even if we skipped the beach because of the weather (windy), we were not bored at all. The staff from the port, reception, restaurant, activity centers are kind and polite. They made all the difference. Definitely recommended!

Si eres una persona nocturna como yo, entonces no cometas el mismo error que yo. Mis días generalmente comienzan por la noche, oye, no funciona bien. Las noches tienen este sentimiento misterioso. No sé por qué, pero actividades como juegos, comida, ir al cine, todo se siente mejor cuando se pasa de noche, no de día.¡Desafortunadamente no disfruté la isla como debería! Debería haber sido disfrutado. Quiero decir, vamos, ¡todas las instalaciones cierran a las 6 pm! ¡De verdad!, y si quisieran estirarlo alguno cierra a las 9 ¡Guau!. Incluso las instalaciones para niños en la ciudad de Doha abren a esta hora. Sin mencionar que la mayoría de las instalaciones están siendo mantenidas. Siento que llegué temprano a pesar de que la isla estaba lista hace años.Tienen 9 restaurantes y solo 2 están abiertos por la noche, muy bien. El cine cierra a las 21 h. El boliche cierra a las 9 pm. Quiero decir, ¿qué se supone que debo hacer por la noche? Prepararse para la escuela ? Ah, y escucha esto, cierran todos los domingos. Me refiero al menos a informar a las personas que están dispuestas a reservar la noche del domingo.Me gustó el clima y la vegetación. Ellos son buenos. Me hizo sentir un poco lejos de la ciudad. Pero no tan lejos. Ojalá la isla abriera sus instalaciones tarde, al menos como la ciudad.Sin embargo como dije. Soy una persona nocturna. Pero si eres una persona diurna, creo que te queda bien, pero no lo recomendaré. Incluso incluso el sellado tiene más actividades. Derecha ?

If you are a night person like me then don’t make the same mistake as I did. My days usually starts at night, hey does doesn’t right. Nights have this mysterious feeling to it. I don’t know why but activities like games, food, going to to the movies all feel better when spending them at night, not day time.Unfortunately I did not enjoy the island like i should it like it! Should have been enjoyed. I mean cmon, all facilities closes at 6 pm! Really!, and if they wanted to stretch it some of them closes at 9 Wow!. Even kids facilities at Doha city open at this hour. Not to mention most of the facilities are being maintained. I feel like I came early even though the island was ready years ago.They got 9 restaurant and only 2 are open at night time, great right. The cinema closes at 9 pm. The bowling closes at 9 pm. I mean what am I suppose to do at night? Get ready for school ? Oh and get this, they shutdown every Sunday. I mean at least inform the people who are willing the reserve the night on Sunday.I liked the weather and the Greenery. They are good. Made me feel a bit away from the city. But not that far away. I wish the island would open their facilities late times, at least like the city.However like I said. I’m a night person. But if you’re a day person then I think it suits you well but I won’t recommend. I even even sealing has more activities. Right ?

Experiencia increíble mi estadía en este resort, es un buen lugar para relajarse, los niños pueden divertirse. Recomiendo este lugar si buscas un escape de la ciudad, también hay actividades acuáticas. También recomiendo no ir el lunes porque la marisquería podría estar cerrada. La habitación es realmente hermosa y acogedora, las comodidades son excepcionales. En la isla puedes tener diferentes medios de transporte; ya sea que desee caminar, alquilar scooters / bicicletas o tomar los carros de golf (este es gratis). El personal es muy amable y hospitalario. Es una gran experiencia que me gustaría volver a intentar.

Had a day tour and its definitely not enough to enjoy this paradise. You will never run out of land and sea activities. Add the excellent food and service then theres no more reason not to love this place. We went this winter and it was perfect. Special thanks to Joseph (the one who drove the club car) who gave us a tour of the island, we enjoyed your company and the photos you took.

Not worth the cost. Booked a sea view suite for 1900 riyal. The ferry will take you only at 1pm to match 3 pm check in time and by 4.30 pm it's sunset. Next day you check out at 12.00. By the time you have a relaxed wake up and breakfast it's time for checkout. So you barely get to use the beach or facility. Attendees at beach are also very laid back cos we had to chase them to get towels. It's better to take day pass for 350 and use 9 am to 5 pm than stay. It's a good location to reach quickly from Doha but there is no reason to keep Maldives kinda pricing.

Had a lovely stay in the 3-bed villa. Very well laid out and by the private pool was heavenly. Excellent service by all staff particularly our Villa host Ali, and Esther at Azraq for breakfast every day.

We visited Banana Island with our 4 year old and 6 week old, and it was a brilliant day out. The staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough to help us. The pools and beach are brilliant, and the food amazing too. The price is reasonable as you get coupons for food and water sports. We even brought food to take home as we couldn’t eat enough there. We made some lovely family memories and will be booking to go back!

Amazing experience my staying in this resort, is good place to have relax, kids can have fun. I recommend this place if you are looking for some scape from the city, there's water activities also. Also I recommend don't go on Monday because the seafood restaurant could be closed. The room is really beautiful and cozy, the amenities are exceptional. In the island you can have different way of transportation; whether you want to walk, rent scooters/cycle or taking the golf cars (this one are for free). The staff is really friendly and hospitality. It's a great experience that I would like to try again.

We stayed for 1 night only for my birthday and had a wonderful time. The staff is friendly and assisted us in every need we had. We tried “Dining by Design” which is a romantic dinner on the beach. It’s pricy but worth it! It made my birthday celebration amazing. We will definitely come back and stay longer next time so we have more time to explore all the other interesting amenities and activities available on the island.

We went there as a family of 11 people for the friday brunch.The food is superb. Lots of live cooking counters. The experience was amazing. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Lisel from the boat was very friendly and cheerful. You must try it once with your family and friends. Its not just a brunch its a fun experience with the boat trip to the island.

What a beautiful serene island. From getting off the boat the staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. The suite was immaculate. QLounge and pool is amazing. Stunning scenery, paradise 20 minutes from Doha. We will definitely return and will recommend to all friends and family. Thank you so much for making our stay so happy and memorable 💗

I went to banana island for my birthday and it was a pleasant experience. I truly enjoyed the ambiance of the whole place because it felt like an escape from the hustle of the city. The range of activities were unmatched and the scenery was beautiful. I had so much fun taking pictures of every corner of the island because every area of it was photogenic. The staff on both the ferry and the island itself were all very accommodating and they even gave me a complimentary birthday latte :)

The experience was an interesting one. I have to say the staff were friendly and amazing. However I would say there could be lack of coordination between the departments or teams. We also felt that the in room facilities need to be checked as we faced issues with it while the same time the water from all the taps smelt like rotten eggs (this was informed to the team). We also faced issue with our breakfast where the preorder was done at 6am for a 9am breakfast yet there was a lot of issues and lack of coordination when we contacted the staff for the same. We ended up receiving the breakfast at around 11am. There was also lack of knowledge with our package. Due to this we couldn't exactly use our credits at the resort which was almost 1000 credit points. Although the staff is amazing, friendly and helpful, the coordination among departments is indeed a concern and the maintenance of the room facilities was a major concern which affected our experience. We did inform the same to the managers. I have to highlight that our experience became positive because of a particular employee named Ali who I believe would be a part of the guest experience team. He was helpful and did take our concerns into consideration. Felt this was important to share and I hope the management understand this and would get back to us for the same as promised before we left the resort.

We like the experience from the room and the services. Also the access to the beach was easy. Enjoyment activities were so fun and its location is near to our room. The spa's massage was perfect and relaxing, definitely will do it again! In general I loved the resort and for sure I would love to visit again!!
