“We booked our hotel through booking.com and when we arrived our taxi couldn't drop us off at the front because of construction, then when we walked up to the hotel, it was closed. A gentleman saw us and told us that the bookings got changed over to their sister hotel admira hotel, which is nothing like the Tukan. At least the Tukan is closer to the beach. We didn't complain because we just wanted to rest since we had a long flight day. It we will be complaining today after our tour.”

“Avoid at all cost. Only thing positive about this place is the location. Leaky showers that drench the entire bathroom floor. Rude front desk person manager. Slim man with a Napoleon complex acting like a jail warden instead of a hotel manager. Rooms are often stuffy and mould smelling. You may not get what you booked, zero customer service from the head manager. The other workers had much better manners than him, If you book with air canada make sure you ask for your check out to be closer to when the shuttle picks you up. We had 5 hours in between and didn’t realize. They won’t confirm check out time so make sure you ask ahead or they will charge you ridiculous fees if you miss it by half an hour. But avoid if you can, terrible hosts! We saw the manager arguing with German tourists too.”
