Beautiful location and fantastic hotel in the southern coast. Had our stay in mid April 2022. It has a restaurant which has amazing food so you won’t go hungry. Not to mention very friendly staff at the front and restaurant.

We were a group of three girls who booked a deluxe grand ocean view room. The hotel grounds and view was was beautiful however the staff are poorly trained. From the minute we checked in to the room we had endless issues. The room was full of dust and dust smell. Having a severe dust allergy it was a nightmare for me. The room Air conditioner wasn’t working and we had to complain multiple times, the reception refused to give us another room instead made us wait sweating for more than half an hour and sent some maintenance people in to the room (pictures attached). After wasting another half an hour they got the AC to work and we informed the reception it’s working but the room dust /fungus smell was unbearable. Since staying in the room was unpleasant we decided to go out to the pool and on our way back we noticed a hotel maintenance man following us and staring at us since we were in swim wear. He followed us in the lift when we had gone to the wrong floor and again followed us to the room. He also came back at night when we were all by our self in the room and insisted that we open the door for him, however we refused and told him to go away. Dinner was an unpleasant experience as well as the the woman who took our order made a mistake and insisted that we consume the food of wrong order. We complained to the another staff about this unacceptable behaviour. The following day we headed for breakfast and the same maintenance man was following us, he waited till we climbed up on stairs and was trying to look through our dresses which was disgusting. We confronted him finally which we also managed to record for our safety and checked out of the hotel at the same time. This was also reported to the hotel residents manager. Advise to hotel management train your staff on basics as your staff are ruining the Amari brand. We have stayed at Amari hotels in other countries and have never experienced such horrible experience.

Nice location with great view. But staff needs more training. During wedding functions most of the dishes from the buffet are empty. People have to wait in queue until they fill those.

Amari is a truly amazing hotel. The rooms are stunning. All have amazing views of the ocean. The private beach is really nice and the food is top notch. The best stay in Srilanka you could have by a country mile and affordable if booked enough in advance. Make sure you stay here. I just did for 3 nights and I wish I never had to leave! Thanks Amari

Big shout out to Ash at the front desk! Ash is phenomenal - anything you need while in Galle, he’s your guy. He really went above and beyond for us. The rooms are spacious and bed super comfy, and the pool is stunning. I recommend eating in town versus on site. And, try to book your spa services before you arrive. We did the Ceylon package, which was truly a delight, but it was a bit tricky to get a booking. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Os quartos são mal cuidados com coisas quebrando o tempo todo. Tive que mudar de quarto três vezes porque os quartos estavam em péssimas condições. Funcionários lentos que preferem conversar uns com os outros do que ajudar os hóspedes, para que você precise incomodar os funcionários.

Si buscas un hotel tranquilo, con una buena playa y donde se respeten y cuiden las medidas de seguridad covid NO es tu lugar. Nos llevamos una gran decepción en comparación con las fotos. El hotel se ve más bien viejo, el aire acondicionado está sucio lo que genera olores de cuya salubridad hacen dudar. Ni la piscina ni la playa disponen de socorrista en un hotel plagado de familias con niños. Nadie lleva la mascarilla dentro del hotel ni en los ascensores, solo el personal, que insisten sin éxito a la gente cuando les ven sin ella. De las tres noches que estuvimos solo pudimos dormir la primera dado que se oyen todos los ruidos de la habitación de al lado con la mala suerte de que varios jóvenes decidieron pasar dos noches de fiesta. Llamamos varias veces a recepción para avisar de los ruidos de madrugada pero no imposible conciliar el sueño. Les doy dos estrellas por la amabilidad del servicio, la comida, que es muy rica y variada, las instalaciones de la piscina que son muy cómodas y es precioso de noche y la cercanía a la fortaleza de Galle. Ni repetiría ni lo recomiendo.

Algumas coisas que perdemos como casal indiano, não houve surpresas especiais de lua de mel apesar de mencionar, muito menos opções de comida indiana no café da manhã, continental tem boa variedade no entanto. Descanse você pode ir em frente .. Uma boa experiência de 5 estrelas. Piscinas, localização e gentry são ótimos

Foi um dos piores expereice de hotel para nós durante a nossa estadia.Embora o país ainda esteja passando por uma situação de pandemia, o hóspede estrangeiro não estava seguindo os ambiciosos protocolos básicos de prevenção e a gerência do hotel não estava preocupada em sequer lembrá-los e garantir que o hotel fosse livre de riscos. Não vou recomendar este hotel a ninguém.

It was one of the worst hotel expereice for us during our stay.Though the country is still going through a pandemic situation the foreign guest were not following the basic covid prevention protocols and the hotel management was not worried to even remind them and ensure the hotel is risk free. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone..

Good rooms... Helping staff.. Location is also great.. Beach accessible.. A few things we missed as Indian couple, were no special honeymoon surprises inspite of mentioning, very less options of Indian food in breakfast, continental have good variety though. Rest you can go for it.. A good 5 star experience. Pools, location and gentry is great

Teve uma estadia de duas noites no final de novembro e absolutamente amei o experiência. Além da praia privada e segura, o ambiente em todo o hotel era vibrante. A comida também era boa. Só uma sugestão, pois vi muitos viajantes muçulmanos visitando o hotel. Os pratos de carne de porco devem ser servidos separadamente dos outros pratos. No geral foi uma ótima estadia. O supervisor do minibar e a equipe do F&B fizeram uma grande diferença.

Excelente hotel. Pessoal atencioso e simpático. O serviço é bom. Mas o que é importante não é um serviço intrusivo. Tem-se a impressão de que a maioria está trabalhando no resultado de todo o hotel. Existem exceções em todos os lugares, mas você não deve fazer uma avaliação sobre elas para todos os outros. Eles escrevem muito aqui e coisas diferentes, mas se você mesmo tratar bem os outros, terá a mesma atitude em relação a si mesmo ... A comida é variada, você sempre encontrará algo para você. Existem todos os tipos de carne à escolha, o peixe está sempre presente. Grande seleção de doces e frutas. Há até mesmo cozinha indiana e local separada. Barra superior do telhado - 👍🏻 Honestamente surpreso com a atenção deles) Após a primeira visita, fomos recebidos com uma pergunta: É o mesmo para você? Eu mesmo honestamente já esqueci ... :) e eles se lembraram) Bem isso é os caras se lembram de mim entre muitos e do que eu pedi da última vez. Ao mesmo tempo, tudo é rápido e sempre simpático e acolhedor. A vista do Roof Top Bar é muito bonita!Posso recomendar este hotel com segurança.

Had a two night stay in late November there and absolutely loved the experience. Apart from the private and secured beach, the ambiance across the hotel was vibrant. The food as well was good. Just one suggestion as I saw many Muslim travellers visiting the hotel. The pork dishes should be served separately from other dishes. Overall it was a great stay. The minibar supervisor and the F&B staff made a real difference.

Possibly one of the best hotels I've visited to in a while! First of all the view of the hotel is amazing, a wast stretch of beach can be seen from any elevation and that is a truly amazing sight to see. Accommodation is good, rooms are very spacious along with modern state-of-the-art architecture. Food is of another level of goodness, especially the deserts 💕. Hotel staff is very friendly as well. Would definitely give a sold 10/10 recommendation to anyone wanting to visit this marvelous hotel.

Had a great stay at Amari. Even after pandemic their services are well served. They maintain good hygienic etiquettes and can recommend as a safe place to stay. The food was great and the variations were well managed. So you're not boated at the buffet at a longer stay. There was a live musical session on a Saturday night. That was really great. The best thing with that was the guests could enjoy it even at the outdoor as well as in the rooms. The staff was very supportive and friendly.

Withhigh expectations my Husband & I reached Amari on his Birthday. Service & staff were very friendly and organized all for us as requested. We even received a complimentary cake but when we reached the room is was with a bug on it. The room was filled with insects which made our stay very uncomfortable. The corridors & room was super compact compared to the images but the sea view was amazing. I was super disappointed with our stay. At least the rooftop bar & food was able to cover up. Good buffet with good service. Thanks

Me and my family had a great time in Amari. Staff is very friendly and helpful all the time and they were very caring about my baby and her food. Food was delicious. Easy access to everything they offer. Beach is right there. Which was a beautiful view. Highly recommend

Hotelazo con todas las habitaciones con vistas al mar!! Nos encantó todo el hotel y la gente que trabaja allí son muy amables y eso que nosotros hablamos muy poco ingles!! Por ubicacion, esta bien pero tienes que coger un tuktuk para desplazarte porque alli fuera no hay nada

Un hotel increíble para relajarse, la piscina es magnífica, y el skybar también, todo el ambiente es muy agradable y relajado, y las habitaciones tienen unas vistas increíbles. La única pega es que el servicio es de los peores que hemos encontrado, se nota que usan mucho personal en prácticas.
